Elyo is one of the European leaders in the field of “Heat and refrigeration production and urban networks management".
This line of business, which is intended to supply all types of residential, tertiary or industrial buildings via underground pipes, is based on two major principles:
- Centralized production of heating fluids and/or coolants: heating, domestic hot water, steam, superheated water, air conditioning, chilled water, etc.
- Use of several primary energy sources.
The production plants, which are designed and operated by Elyo, draw on several primary energy sources (coal, heavy fuel oil, gas, and electricity) and renewable energy sources (household waste, biomass, geothermal energy, etc.).
Elyo, which is the world leader in steam technology due to the CPCU in Paris, is devoted to promoting clean, reliable, available energy which contributes to combating pollution.
In the field of air conditioning, the Group has become an important operator of urban cooling networks, with projects completed in Lisbon, Monaco and Paris, where the subsidiary Climespace connects the most prestigious hotels in the French capital, as well as department stores and the head offices of several multinationals.
